Assalaam alikum,

This week we went over lesson 6 and 7. Next week I will finish the rest of lesson 7. Also we will discuss lesson 8 as well. So for homework please read lesson 8.

Also I have mentioned in class, that we will have our first test on November 22, 2009 In Shaa Allah. I will go over the format of the test again next week.

I did not assign any homework from the workbook, since we did not finish the lesson in class. But please finish the previous homework if you have not done so already, since I will collect the workbooks soon In Shaa Allah.

This week took 3 more Ayat in class. So now we are up to Ayat # 14. We will finish the rest of the Surah next week In Shaa Allah. I hope that the week after will be our review, and that means that the test will be possibly on December 6th, since I believe the school will close on the 11/29.

In the mean time, please study.

This Sunday, we finished Surat Al Humazah. Students are expected to study . They were given packets of the suras they will be covering this year In shaa Allah.

Next week we will have a review, and the week after will be our first test In Shaa Allah.

This Sunday we reviewed the previous ayat and took 2 more ayat. I have also handed out copies of the surah with the meaning as the previous posts. Total ayat covered are until ayah # 11.
