Asslam Alikum,

This week I talked about the importance of Jerusalem to Bani Israeli.
Next week I will cover the importance of Jerusalem to Christians In shaa Allah.
Hopefully, I will also able to explain the importance of the city to us as well if I have the time. These information will help us understand lesson 13 better in Shaa Allah.

For homework, as I have mentioned in class, I will come to gather all the workbooks after the class is over. I will grade them and hand them back at the end of the day. For this week I want the following to be comepleted in the workbook:

Assalam Alikum,

This week, we reviewed the surah. Some students recited what they know in class for extra credit. We also were able to take a new ayah Al-hamdulil Allah.

This week we took two more ayat in Surah. We have three more ayat to cover in class. I hope In shaa Allah we can finish this surah in two weeks.

Assalam Alikum,

This week we went over lesson 12. I did not assign any homework this week.

I did this since most of the students are not doing their homework. So, during every lunch, the students are to leave their workbooks on their desks. I will come and grade the workbooks at that time. This way I can track who is doing their homework every week or not.

I hope that everyone will catch up to the work I have assigned so far this year.

Assalam Alikum,

This week, somehow we ended up talking about the different events that will take place before, during,and after the day of Judgement. I do not know how we ended up doing so. But the kids could not stop talking about it or stop asking questions.

So, next week we will be reviewing the surah. The week after will be our test In Shaa Allah.
